Pauline Lim

Somerville artist Pauline Lim created the Geocaching Urban Shrines project for a 2011 Somerville Arts Council grant. She created and hid 9 secular shrines all over Somerville; each encompasses a positive attribute and is located near some kind of treat. Born in Clarinda, Iowa, in 1966, graduated cum laude 1984 from Phillips Academy, Andover, MA, graduated A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1988. She lives and works at the Brickbottom Artists Building. She has exhibited in various galleries in the US and abroad since 1989. www.paulinelim.net
